a buck a song...

  • boy's death

  • Put your money where your mouth is... We spend billions on Iraq... billions... we're protecting our future right? We're making for a better world... We're insuring our security...

How many people a day in the US die from lack of medical care... pre-emptive and all of that...? What's the reality on the ground? How much good will could we have bought with billions? How many could we educate?

and then there's my own democratic party... How many of you guys voted to support the war because it was political suicide not too?

Is there an American leader who has the political backbone to do what's right because it's right?

You asked: Is there an American leader who has the political backbone to do what's right because it's right?

I'd have to say, for the most part, yes there is. And he operates right in your own back yard: Dennis Kucinich.

Scorned and mocked in 2004 because he talked about things like a "Deparment of Peace" and said this war would make us the worse for having started it, more than 60 percent of Americans now hold Dennis' original vision of what the war would do to us. He had a real plan to keep us out of the war, and he has a real plan to get us out of it now.

Y'know what's obscene? He raised 14 million dollars in the '04 cycle, and still couldn't get the media to say any more about him than that he was a bachelor.

We get the elected representatives, in many cases, that we deserve.

You're right about Dennis... I'm proud to say I voted for him...

Yeah Dennis... Unfortunately he gets painted as a nut by the media... sigh
